About Me

Gil is an award-winning master planner, designer, and development manager with over forty years of experience on projects as diverse and challenging as are the properties in which he has been involved. He is responsible for directing project visioning, master planning, architectural design, development, and entitlement activities for many world class projects. As the creative lead of GMA, he personally designs and plans projects which range from small villages to complete communities comprising over 50,000 acres.

Mr. Martinez has created numerous comprehensive master plans that become destination mixed use villages, resort communities, highly-amenitized residential, recreational, and commercial developments throughout the United States, Mexico, French Polynesia, the Caribbean, Maldives, Chile, Scotland, the Philippines, Japan, China, Thailand, Korea, Europe and Africa. He holds degrees in Planning, Landscape Architecture, and Civil Engineering as well as a Masters in Administration.
